Your Self-Image is Holding You Back...

The way you view yourself is what shapes your reality.

What if what’s holding you back is not how hard and unfair the world is, but rather the image you’ve built of yourself?

What if the way you view yourself right now, in this moment, is precisely why you aren’t in the position you want to be in?

When you dream about something, you’re operating from the place of being someone who wants it but doesn’t have it.

But it turns out that the necessary energy in order to make that dream a reality is to become the person who HAS it NOW.

It’s when you operate from that level of fulfillment—which comes with it belief, courage, motivation, discipline, and so on—that the ball REALLY gets moving.

When you become what you want to be now, you make decisions that make that “dream” inevitable.

And that’s how self-image works.

The way you view yourself is like a thermostat set to a particular temperature.

Anytime you rise above it, your self-image will bring you back down. And anytime you drop below that set-point, your self-image will bring you back up.

Have you ever noticed how getting a haircut, or a tattoo, or new clothes somehow makes you FEEL differently?

It’s not the external thing that did it; it’s you giving yourself permission to do it.

And when you give yourself permission prior to the manifestation of your dream, goal, or whatever it may be, than it begins to pave the way before you for it to come directly into your life.

Much love, Devon G.
