You are Your Most Valuable Asset...

If you think about it, what is it that makes a painting beautiful?

Now I’m not talking about the artist, or what the scene depicts…

I’m asking: how are you even able to recognize its beauty?

The only reason you’re able to recognize the beauty of a painting—and with that, the beauty of anything—is because of the innate differences that comprise the thing.

The colors, the shapes, the textures, the style, the flow, the patterns….

The difference is what’s beautiful. The difference is what allows you to even recognize beauty in the first place.

Now let’s spin this on its head.

What if that’s the same with you?

What if what makes you beautiful is not how well you can do what others have already done, but how uniquely and exclusively you get the opportunity to be YOU?

A lot of us are just copy and pastes of other people.

We snub out our uniqueness and differences in exchange for the over-saturated qualities of the idealized avatar that society has created.

We look at the ideal and try to copy it.

But what makes you stand out is the fact that you’re one of a kind… own that sh*t.

Think about it. Nobody ever has or will ever be able to be you right now.

You are the title holder of your most valuable asset: yourself.

So let it shine. Let it pervade. Allow yourself be to what you innately are.

People will cheer and people will boo, but the real gift is that you’re finally allowing yourself to be YOU.
