The Teachings of Neville Goddard
A legend in the manifestation community.
The manifestation teacher Neville Goddard was an extraordinary being. He coined terms like “Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled,” “Dare to assume,” and “Think from the end,” which have become commonplace in the manifestation and law of attraction community.
Neville was interesting because he believed that the Bible was a parable of human consciousness and psychology, rather than a story of an event that took place.
He would frequently quote from the Bible things like “The Kingdom of heaven is within you,” and “Ask and you shall receive, seek and ye shall find,” etc.
Verses that are, in a way, indicative of the core principles of manifestation.
He is most well known for outlining what it means to “think from the end,” and to “assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled.”
Let’s do an exercise that he would teach real quick…
Picture what it is that you want. Picture it vividly. Give it all the tones of reality that you can. Feel your way into the reality of it.
Now, ask yourself: what would it feel like were it to be true?
If you had what you wanted, or were the person you wanted to be, what would it feel like?
Feel deeply into the sensation of what it would be like to have fulfilled that desire.
Now, live in that. Forget the evidence of the 3D world. Forget the evidence of your senses that are constantly asserting the lack of that thing you want.
Live in the feeling. Live from that feeling.
According to Neville, if you persist in living from the end, your desire must come to pass.
The when and the how is irrelevant. Focus on the feeling. And it will arrive.
Isn’t that interesting? I utilize these practices in my everyday life, and I must say, it has completely transformed my life.
