The Delayed Mirror Effect
This is why you don’t see the results you want yet...
You are where you are in your life for a very particular reason.
It’s not by mere chance and coincidence that you just so happen to have wound up where you are.
It’s through a very specific set of thoughts, emotions, and actions that you’ve taken that have gotten you to where you are.
Whenever I talk about manifestation, people can sometimes get these weird, woo-woo feeling about it like it’s this mystical nonsense that I’m talking about…
But it’s not. And here’s how to understand it better:
If you reverse-engineer how you got to where you are in your life, you will reconstruct the method of manifestation.
If you familiarize yourself with how you got to where you are, what you will realize is that youare why you’re where you are.
This is because, on a very deep level, our 3D world is a projection of our inner universe—you can call it your “innerverse”.
When you hold strong to a particular thought, that thought will create an oscillating energy with emotions, and they’ll start bouncing off of each other.
That thought-feeling oscillation eventually precipitates actions, which are what crystallize your external circumstances.
You are all of literally living the life of your creation.
But one of the many reasons it’s so hard to really understand this is because the effect isn’t always immediate.
AKA: manifestations take a second to project onto the 3D world.
This is called the delayed mirror effect.
Think of it like this:
When you’re standing in front of a mirror, when you make a change, the mirror makes that change almost instantaneously.
But on a deep, nerdy level, it isn’t instantaneous. It takes time.
It takes precisely as long as it takes for the light to hit the mirror, reflect off the mirror and into your eyes, and for your eyes to then translate that light into visual perception.
Now, it happens pretty damn fast, but not immediately.
This is exactly the same thing with our 3D world.
When you make a smiley face to the world, it takes a second for the world to reflect that smiley face. A silly example, I know, but think about it.
It takes persistence and dedication to a particular way of being in order for it to project itself onto the 3D world.
When people get involved with manifestation, one thing they quickly get obsessed with is time.
“Where is it? When will it get here? Am I doing it right? Shouldn’t it be here by now?”
And then they get discouraged that they don’t see the change on the outside, and so they abandon the efforts to hold true to being the person they need to be in order to see the change.
But here’s the trippy part: getting discouraged that you don’t see the change on the outside is like frowning into the mirror, and then saying “I’m frowning because the reflection is frowning.”
“I won’t smile until the reflection smiles.”
… do you see?
YOU are the reflection. What you’re seeing is YOU.
Want the reflection to smile? YOU must smile. Want your life to change? YOU must change.
And don’t get antsy when it doesn’t happen immediately. These changes take a second.
I understand if this is hard to wrap your head around. But it’ll completely transform your life when you do.
