It Shows Up When You Stop Looking for It...
The Harder You Try, The Less it Happens.
Have you ever noticed how the harder you look for something, the less you’re able to find it?
Or the more you want time to pass, the longer it seems to drag on?
Or the more effort you put into TRYING, the more frequently you mess it up?
I call this the reverse law of effort and attention.
The universe responds to energy, not logic.
When you TRY and apply EFFORT, you imply a lack of natural capability.
When you WAIT, you imply resistance to every passing moment.
When you LOOK FOR IT, you see everything that isn’t it.
But strangely, when you stop trying, it happens.
When you stop waiting, that moment finally comes.
When you stop looking, it finally shows up.
It’s almost like the universe is teaching us that it’s by letting go, trusting, and not forcing that things are able to happen much quicker and much more authentically.
I’ve heard it said before that it’s easier for the universe to give you what you want than it is for the universe to give you what you don’t want.
But, because of the way energy works, and because of the way we operate when it comes to our desires…
We sort of force the universe to give us what we DON’T want.
It’s not the universes fault for delivering to us what we ourselves are subconsciously implying and asking for.
Think about it…
When you’re waiting for the time to pass, the universe delivers to you the feeling of WAITING.
When you’re desperately seeking something, the universe delivers to you the feeling and energy of SEEKING.
When you’re trying really hard towards something, the universe delivers to you the feeling of EFFORT and TENSION.
The universe responds to your subconscious mind, not your conscious mind.
So maybe the trick is to trust more. To let go more. To allow more.
To stop waiting around for it to happen. To rather LET it happen.
Much love, Devon G.
