In Order To See It, You Have to BE it.

In The Game of Life & How to Play It, Florence Scovel Shinn made a brilliant statement.

She said, “Man cannot demand from the external what he himself is not.”

In other words, you can’t ask for or expect from the outside what you yourself haven’t yet BECOME.

If you want kindness and love from the outside, develop kindness and love within yourself.

If you want wealth and riches from the outside, develop a wealthy, rich, and abundant lifestyle within yourself.

If you want respect from the world, first become a respectable person.

If you want the world to fulfill you, you must first be able to fulfill yourself.

The outside is a mirror guys… and trying to get the outside to change without changing yourself is like trying to get your reflection in the mirror to change without doing anything yourself…

It doesn’t work like that.

The external circumstances of the world are like a shadow being cast by the objects of your mind.

Make those objects beacons of light, and the world will transform itself to conform to what you see it as.

In order to SEE it, you have to BE it.
